UTT spot prices may top US$5 this week, sources say

A seasonal pickup of demand from China is pushing up prices of untested (UTT) DRAM, with the price currently approaching spot and contract prices of branded chips, and perhaps surpassing US$5 this week, according to sources with DRAM distributors.
