Formosa Epitaxy expects 2Q shipments of high-luminance blue LED chips to grow 20%

Taiwan-based LED chip maker Formosa Epitaxy expects to ship about 33-36 million high-luminance blue LED chips this quarter, up 10-20% from 30 million in the first quarter, according to company spokesman Charles Wei.
