Teco to sell most of its share holdings in UMC

Teco Electric & Machinery plans to gradually sell the bulk of it holdings of 120 million shares in United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) to raise funds to develop its core businesses, according to Teco chairman Theodore Huang.
