SARS hurting demand for Taiwanese consumer ICs

With the spread of the SARS in China and Hong Kong, foreign buyers are traveling less to the region and some are postponing orders of such consumer products as toys, which in turn may lead to lower demand for Taiwanese ICs, sources said.
