Wistron and Acer obtain patent on Tablet PC flat panel apparatus

Acer and Wistron have acquired the patent rights in the US, Taiwan and China for a flat panel display apparatus and tili/swivel mechanism used in Tablet PCs. The mechanism was designed before Wistron spun off from Acer.
