VIA Technologies expects its CPUs will generate 70% of its total revenues for 2008, as it shifts its focus further towards the CPU and handset chip sector and away from PC chipsets, according to the Chinese-language Economic Daily News (EDN).
VIA has received a vote of confidence recently as sales of low-cost Green gPCs powered by VIA CPUs at Wal-Mart have been a success, the paper said.
