NAND flash-based hard drives upgraded to 32GB

Read and write speeds of NAND flash drives have improved significantly while capacities grew from 32MB in 2000 to 32GB this year. The achievement was recently highlighted at the ongoing Eco-Products 2008 trade show.

This August, Toshiba announced what it claimed the largest density, with the launch of 32GB embedded NAND flash memory modules.
