Asahi Glass to set up second substrate factory in China

Japan-based Asahi Glass will establish a new glass substrate factory in Shenzhen, southern China, to produce substrates for 8.5G TFT-LCD panel production lines with volume production slated for summer 2012, according to industry sources.
