Renesas plans to opt out of NAND flash production completely, say sources

With Renesas Technology already outsourcing its 4Gbit NAND flash production to Powerchip Semiconductor Corporation (PSC), the Japan-based memory maker will now completely opt out of NAND flash production this year, according to company sources.
