Samsung said to be offering subsidies to promote 40-inch LCD panel segment

Samsung Electronics is offering financial support to Taiwan-based system makers for their 40-inch LCD TV module fees, as long as the companies agree to purchase sufficient amounts of its 40-inch panels, according to market sources.
