Taiwan market: New DLP chip from TI may help bring down projector prices

Local projector vendors estimate that prices for entry-level DLP projectors may soon drop to NT$25,000 (US$799), down from NT$29,900 (US$956), as projectors adopting the Texas Instruments (TI) 0.55-inch DLP chip begin hitting the market.
