Former E-Ton president reportedly to head UMC PV subsidiary

United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) will appoint Allen Guo, former president of Taiwan-based solar cell maker E-Ton Solar Tech, as president of its solar cell subsidiary Topcell Solar International, according to industry sources.
