FCCL (flexible copper-clad laminate) maker ThinFlex is expected to see its revenues to hit a new high in the third quarter of 2012 as the company has recently entered the supply chain of a leading smartphone vendor, according to industry sources.

Revenues in July are likely to show a slight setback to NT$101 million (US$3.37 million), after hitting a record high of NT$111 million in June due to inventory checks at clients, the sources estimated.

However, sales in August and September are expected to exceed those recorded in July due to orders from the new client, said the sources, estimating ThinFlex third-quarter revenues to post a 5-10% sequential growth.

Career Technology, Ichia Technologies and Unimicron Technology are currently ThinFlex's top three direct clients, the sources noted.
