IC design firms Parade Technologies and Integrated Memory Logic (iML), which reportedly cut into the supply chain for Apple's New iPad, have secured orders for the newly-launched MacBook Pro, according to industry sources.
Parade, a supplier of mixed-signal ICs for display and high-speed interface standards, reportedly has secured orders of DisplayPort ICs used for the new MacBook Pro, while iML is shipping its programmable Gamma buffer solutions for the device, the sources revealed.
Already among the suppliers for the New iPad, Parade and iML recently enjoyed revenue growth, the sources observed.
Parade has announced consolidated revenues of NT$445.6 million (US$15.1 million) for May 2012, up 18.3% sequentially. Monthly sales registered sequential growth starting February, according to company data.
Meanwhile, revenues at iML hit a monthly record for the third consecutive month in May 2012.
