IC distributors WPG Holdings and WT Microelectronics both have reported healthy revenue gains for May. The two companies are expected to see their sales momentum continue in the second quarter as well as in the second half of 2012, according to industry sources.
Having recorded strong sales in May, WPG is likely to reach its sales goal of NT$90-94 billion (US$3-3.14 billion) set for the second quarter, representing an increase of 11-17% from the previous quarter.
WT Micro is expected to record sales of NT$18.6-19.6 billion in the second quarter, up 3-8% from the previous quarter, the company said earlier.
