Ennoconn Technologies held its 2026 Semiconductor x AI Applications Forum at Google's Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore on July 29 and signed a memorandum of understanding with the Singapore Manufacturers' Federation (SMF) on the same occasion. The event marked a further step in the Taiwanese technology group's expansion into Southeast Asia's semiconductor and artificial intelligence markets.

Ennoconn chose Singapore for the signing because of the city-state's growing role in regional semiconductor and AI supply chains, according to the source article. Singapore has also continued to draw global information and communications technology and chip firms as its Economic Development Board works to strengthen the country's position as a manufacturing and innovation hub.

Under the SMF partnership, Ennoconn gains access to a local manufacturing network of more than 3,000 member companies. The federation's reach could support customer development, supply-chain integration and capacity planning as the company works to localize more of its business in the region.

Ennoconn has been repositioning itself as a Physical AI application platform provider, with operations spanning autonomous mobile robots for smart retail and smart logistics, and applications in transportation, aerospace and energy networks. The forum also covered Physical AI and Edge AI in semiconductor innovation, automated material handling systems, digital twin technology, green energy, ESG monitoring and cybersecurity defense.

The company said senior executives from Google Cloud, Foxconn Technology Group, Arm, Intel, Kontron, Nera Telecommunications, Motech Systems and CASwell attended the forum. Ennoconn said the turnout reflected its broader ecosystem strategy and its integration of resources from global technology partners including Google, Intel, MediaTek and Arm.
