Pegatron saw a significant revenue rebound in December 2024, propelled by initial AI server shipments and sustained client demand for new products. In the fourth quarter of 2024, the company achieved record quarterly revenue, maintaining its streak of exceeding NT$1 trillion (US$30.3 billion) in annual revenue for the eleventh consecutive year.

The company reported December revenue of NT$102.446 billion, up 23.2% compared to the same period in the previous year, despite a 3.1% decrease compared to the previous month. The contract electronics manufacturer posted revenue of NT$327 billion for the fourth quarter of 2024, showing an 11.1% increase compared to the previous quarter but a 4.4% decline compared to the same period in the previous year.

For the full year 2024, Pegatron reported revenue of NT$1.12 trillion, a 10.5% decrease compared to the previous year.

Beginning in 2024, Pegatron's operational team implemented a five-year strategic plan focused on emerging technologies and trends across multiple sectors, including AI, robotics, and smart healthcare, according to the company.

Once a primary contract manufacturer for Apple, Pegatron has been actively expanding its portfolio beyond Apple-related projects. Co-CEO Kuang-Chih Cheng stated that following the completion of an initial phase in 2024, the company's transformation remains on track, with expectations to gradually realize returns from new business ventures by 2025.

Despite its relatively late entry into the AI server market, Pegatron reported promising developments in January 2025, with its GB200 rack successfully completing client testing and beginning shipments to customer data centers. Cheng indicated that the growing demand for AI servers would help secure future orders and maintain operational momentum.

In the automotive electronics sector, Cheng anticipates more stable performance in 2025. The company's initial strategy focuses on expanding business share among existing key clients. He emphasized that these clients have diversified beyond single product lines, though significant volume increases are expected only by late 2025 or 2026.
