Eighteen startups participated in London Tech Week on June 13-14, focusing on smart health, AI, IOT and EedTech, to showcase Taiwan's innovations to the world, according to the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST).

The startups were led by Andrea Hsu, director general of the Department of Academia-Industry Collaboration and Science Park Affair at MOST.

The London Tech Week had over 100 global corporates to choose the top-8 startups to pitch on stage, and six Taiwan startups were selected: Avalanche Computing, Crypto Arsenal, FaceHeart, Lulupet, Numbers Protocol, and Giftpack. They represented Taiwan at International Delegation Pitches to strive for investors and create international business opportunities on June 13, MOST said.

London Tech Week is Europe's largest technology exhibition.

FaceHeart made the first business meeting appointment through the exhibitor's platform with Samsung, said MOST.

London is open and positive about investing in innovation and technology. This year, MOST chose London as the first stop of its European showcase. After London, MOST will be bringing 33 startups to Viva Technology in France and Hub Berlin Germany.
