CHT will set up 35 additional self-operated chain stores in 2013, with some of larger space to exhibit large-size LCD TVs for sale bundled with contracts for its MOD (multimedia on demand) services. In addition, CHT's subsidiary Senao International will open 15 more chain stores in 2013.

TWM has more than 800 self-operated and franchised chain stores in total currently and will set up 60-80 additional ones in 2013. TWM is in the process of establishing a wholly-owned subsidiary, Taiwan Digital Service, specifically for operating its retail chain and related maintenance and logistics centers.

FET currently has about 700 self-operated retail chain stores as well as 150 ones operated by subsidiary Arcoa and 50 ones by affiliated Data Express, and will expand the three chains to a total of more than 1,000 stores in 2013.
