Apex International, a Thailand-based PCB maker listed on the Taiwan stock market, expects its revenues to top THB6.3-6.9 billion (US$211.69-231.85 million) in 2013, up 5-15% from a year earlier.

Demand for PCBs from the LCD TV, hard disk drive (HDD) and STB segments will help drive sales growth in 2013, the company noted.

The company is scheduled to begin trial operations its new plant in July 2013 and ramp up production capacity to 500,000 square feet of PCBs a month by October.

Sales of PCBs for HDD applications will account for a double-digit ratio of Apex's total revenues in 2013 compared to a single-digit rate in 2012, thanks to increasing orders from clients in Japan, the company revealed.

The ratio of PCBs for LCD TV's control boards will also rise by at least 5% in 2013, the company added.
