Coretronic shipped 5.82 million backlight units (BLUs) in June, mainly consisting of 480,000 units for LCD TVs (94% being LED applications), 1.91 million units for monitors (86% being LED applications) and 3.11 million units for notebook and tablet PCs (all LED applications), according to the company.
Coretron had consolidated revenues of NT$6.01 billion (US$201 million) for June decreasing by 2.2% on month and by 4.4% on year, while its second-quarter consolidated revenues of NT$17.975 billion grew by 9.1% on quarter. Its January-June consolidated revenues of NT$34.456 billion dropped by 11.9% on year.
