Acer expects sequential notebook shipment drop of only 5% in 1Q10, says chairman

Acer expects its notebook shipments in the first quarter of 2010 to drop 5% sequentially, down from its original expectations of 10%, mainly thanks to strong demand in both Europe and Asia Pacific markets, according to company chairman JT Wang.
