Taiwan-based notebook battery maker Dynapack International Technology has announced consolidated revenues of NT$1.5 billion (US$44.87 million), drops of 9.86% on month and 9.26% on year, although total consolidated revenues for the first 11 months of 2008 still reached NT$16.56 billion, an increase of 29.95% on year.
The company forecast order volumes in December will not see much improvement compared to November, while ASPs are likely to drop 5-8%. As a result, consolidated revenues in December are expected to drop further.
Meanwhile, rival Celxpert Energy announced consolidated revenues performance in November at NT$912 million, drops of 9.16% on month and 8.81% on year. Combined consolidated revenues in the first 11 months of 2008 reached NT$8.18 billion, a drop of 1.08% on year.
Celxpert pointed out that the declining economy plus the upcoming slow season for notebooks in the early part of 2009 will cause the company's revenues in December to decline more compared to November.
