Chipbond foresees shortage of COF-made LCD driver ICs

While reiterating his optimistic outlook for the LCD driver IC backend demand for 2008, chairman of Chipbond Technology, Fei-Jain Wu, projects that a shortage of chip-on-film capacity will arrive late in the second quarter and early third quarter.
