Compal expects to ship four million notebooks in 1Q, says paper

Compal Electronics' notebook shipments in the first quarter of 2007 are expected to total 4.0 million units, up 40% on year, the Chinese-language Commercial Times quoted company sources as saying in a January 31 report.
