Taiwan market: NCC aims for 96% of subscribers to use digital cable TV in 2012

Taiwan's National Communications Commission (NCC) plans to increase the proportion of subscribers using digital cable TV service in Taiwan from an estimated 5.6% at present to 96% in 2012, according to a press release by the agency on August 31.
