AUO purchases LCD equipment worth NT$1.7 billion

Taiwan-based TFT LCD panel maker AU Optronics today announced it has purchased equipment worth NT$1.7 billion (US$52.3 million) from Misuzu Trading, according to a company filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE).
