MIC: Taiwan notebook shipments up 48% on year in 2Q

Buoyed by rising demand for desktop replacements, notebook shipments from Taiwan reached about 10.9 million units in the second quarter of this year, up 47.6% on year, according to Taiwan's Market Intelligence Center (MIC).
