Taiwan market: PDP prices falling, but it's all about whose panels you use

Making use of panels provided by Taiwan-based Formosa Plasma Display Corporation (FPDC), V-Tek Technology has recently been able to drop the price for its 50-inch PDP (plasma display panel) TVs to below NT$100,000 (US$3,164), a drop of more than 40%.
