Askey Computer, a network equipment maker, posted consolidated revenues of NT$2 billion (about US$59 million) in April, up from NT$1.95 billion in March.
Due to rising WLAN demand, the company’s April shipments of WLAN devices have reached 400,000 units, from monthly 300,000 units in the first quarter. Askey has set a target of shipping 10 million WLAN devices this year, according to an October 1 2003 article.
