At Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015, LG Electronics unveiled a new line of mid-range smartphones, the LG Magna, Spirit, Leon and Joy. The four devices will be available in both LTE and 3G versions. The LTE and 3G versions of each model share nearly identical design. The LG Magna features a 5-inch in-cell touch display, a quad-core processor, an 8-megapixel back-end camera and a 5-megapixel front camera as well as a 2,540mAh removable battery. The LG Spirit features a 4.7-inch in-cell touch display and an 8-megapixel camera, while the LG Leon offers a 4.5-inch display in a compact body. The smallest of the group, the LG Joy has a 4-inch display.

LG G Flex2 curved smartphone
LG Electronics has announced the global rollout of its curved smartphone, G Flex2. Set within the G Flex2's contoured shape is a 5.5-inch Full HD plastic OLED display and an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor. Its Self Healing back cover now heals everyday scratches in just 10 seconds and the smartphone's Fast Charge feature charges the 3000mAh battery to almost 50% in a little over half an hour, according to the vendor. The G Flex2 offers an upgraded Gesture Shot for taking selfies with a hand gesture. LG has extended the distance from which the camera can recognize one's hand to 1.5 meters.

LG Lifeband Touch wearable device
LG Electronics has unveiled its Lifeband Touch, a wearable product that mark the company's first foray into fitness tech. Showcasing at the CES 2014 in Las Vegas, the product incorporate compatibility with other devices. The device is designed to help users take control over their health. The Lifeband Touch can wirelessly link up with LG's another wearable device, the Heart Rate Earphones, creating a wearable ecosystem. Connected to smartphones (Android and iOS supported), the devices can transmit data to LG Fitness app, or to a number of other third party apps such as MyFitnessPal, Runkeeper or MapMyFitness. The Lifeband Touch features a touch OLED panel to display time, biometrics, incoming calls and music controls, the built-in 3-axis accelerometer and altimeter allows the device to accurately measure key performance indicators such as distance, speed, number of steps, calories consumed and projected pace. The device also offers wireless connectivity via Bluetooth to transmit data to a smartphone or receive data from third party devices such the Heart Rate Earphones.
