Vietnam-based automaker VinFast and Taiwan-based VR platform Vive demonstrated their latest automotive innovations at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022.

At the show, VinFast showcased its new IoV technologies used in its electric vehicles (EVs) and demonstrated how the technologies can provide services to improve drivers' experience via smart cockpit solutions.

Using the technologies, users are also able to interact with smart home equipment and automotive shopping services. The company is also looking to develop mobile working solutions that allow users to work in autonomous driving vehicles.

VinFast's active AI system is also able to interact with the driver and provide suggestions or even make decisions using live data generated from the driving environment and driver behaviors.

Vive partnered with mixed reality (XR) startup Holoride to showcase in-car XR technologies.

The technologies are able to transform the backseat area into an entertainment zone via HTC's head-mounted display (HMD).

The solution uses HTC's Vive Flow, an HMD that weighs only 189g, allowing users to enjoy XR contents without needing to carry too much weight.
