In a December 19 article, we mistakenly reported that DVD MovieFactory software from Ulead Systems would be bundled with Acer Aspire notebook PCs. The bundle arrangement is for the Acer Aspire desktop PCs.

In a third December 12 article, we mistakenly calculated Winbond's stock buyback as being equivalent to 0.04% of its outstanding shares. The correct figure is 0.49%.
In another December 12 article, we had a discrepancy between the text and table for Asustek Computer's 3Q motherboard ASP. The correct figure is US$67.
In a December 12 article, we mistakenly reported the V8 Volari Duo chip from XGI Technology as being priced at about US$330. The ASP of graphics cards based on the chip is US$449. We also should have said that VIA expects its graphics chip business to turn profitable early next year. The company as a whole is already profitable. Finally, we mistakenly reported VIA's 3Q pre-tax profits as NT$6.1 million. It earned NT$61.28 million before taxes for the period.

In an December 10 article, we mistakenly reported that AMD would deliver chip samples using a 90nm process on 12-inch wafers. The samples will be produced on 8-inch wafers at AMD's Fab 30.

In a November 24 article, we mistakenly reported TSMC and UMC would use FSG with a k-value of below 3 in 90-nm pilot runs. The dielectrics used by TSMC and UMC should be BD and CORAL, respectively.
