Leadtek announces the latest graphics cards based on Nvidia G92 Press release, October 30; Joseph Tsai, DIGITIMES [Tuesday 30 October 2007]
Leadtek Research has announced the launch of new high-end graphics cards to gaming enthusiasts, the WinFast PX8800 GT and PX8800 GT Extreme. Based on 65nm technology and powered by Nvidia GeForce 8800GT graphics processing units, the WinFast PX8800 GT and PX8800 GT Extreme come with 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 memory and GPU clocks of 600MHz and 680MHz, respectively. Both cards utilize a single slot thermal solution. The WinFast PX8800 GT and PX8800 GT Extreme use Nvidia PureVideo HD technology to provide picture clarity, smooth video, accurate color, and vivid image scaling, claimed the company. They also enable playback of HD DVD, Blu-ray Disc and other protected content at full HD resolutions with integrated HDCP support. With dual dual-link DVI-I output, they sustain digital displays up to 2560×1600 resolutions and support extreme HD games and entertainment. Leadtek said.
