Previously codenamed Project Grey, the Tegra 4i processor features 60 custom Nvidia GPU cores; a quad-core CPU based on ARM's latest Cortex-A9 r4 architecture plus a fifth battery saver core; and a version of the Nvidia i500 LTE modem for integration.
The Tegra 4i mobile processor's camera capabilities include the Chimera Computational Photography Architecture recently announced in Tegra 4. This delivers many features including the high dynamic range (HDR) capabilities, the vendor said.
Asustek showcased the Memo Pad HD7 tablet at Computex 2013. The product is priced at US$169/unit.
