US consumers on five major service providers will now be able to own the Samsung Galaxy S3, supported by the nation's 4G LTE and HSPA+ 42 networks, according to Samsung Electronics.

The device will be launching with AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and US Cellular starting in June.

The Galaxy S3 weighs 4.7 ounces and is 8.6mm thin, and features a 4.8-inch AMOLED display. The device is powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual core CPU and 2GB, and runs Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS.

Exact pricing and retail availability will be announced by each of the five carriers in the coming weeks.
