Hewlett-Packard (HP) has introduced two ultrabooks, Envy 14 Spectre and Envy 15 Spectre, for launch in the Taiwan market at retail prices of NT$49,900 (US$1,683) and NT$64,900.

Unlike other vendors' ultrabooks which use unibody aluminum chassis, HP's Spectre series ultrabooks adopt Corning's Gorilla glass to increase its quality and help reduce the machines' thickness to 2cm with weight of 1.8kg.
