CES 2010: Sharp LCD TVs with four primary color technology

Sharp introduced its four primary color technology at the CES 2010.

The four primary color technology adds yellow (Y) to the traditional red (R), green (G) and blue (B), enabling more than a trillion colors to be displayed, the vendor said.

The new technology will be employed in several new AQUOS LED-backlit LCD TV models that were showcased at CES.
