Transcend SSD now Windows 7 certified

Transcend Information has announced that all of its SSDs have passed Microsoft Windows 7 WHQL testing.

Microsoft has tuned its latest OS to run faster on SSD drives, with built-in support for the TRIM command essential in maintaining optimum SSD speed and reducing long-term SSD wear, according to Transcend.

Transcend's complete line of SSDs, including SSD25, SSD25S, SSD25H, SSD25D, SSD18S, SSD18M and SSD34E, have all been tested to Microsoft standards and proven to work flawlessly with the new operating system, Transcend claimed.
