Micro-Star International (MSI) has launched a 15.4-inch Intel Calpella-based notebook, the GT640, featuring Intel's Core i7 processor, Windows 7, Nvidia GeForce GTS 250M discrete graphics card.

The GT640 comes with MSI's ECO Engine, a smart power-saving solution that can be accessed via a shortcut button on the control panel, the company said. With the push of a button users can activate the ECO Engine and customize the notebook's power settings to suit specific uses.
