China-based Astronergy has wons a 2MW rooftop PV project located at the in Hangzhou Energy and Environment Industrial Park through a competitive and selective bidding process. The project is fully financed by China Energy Conservation Investment Corporation, and is Zhejiang Province's first large-scale on-grid PV plant.

The industrial park covers an area of 23.8 square kilometers. Astronergy will design and install the entire project with a combination of crystalline silicon based modules and high efficiency tandem thin-film PV modules.
