The LED backlighting system enables instant display when the monitor is powered up, and both models feature "Eco" mode for 30% less power-consumption, the company said.
The two new V series models are 14.6% lighter and 21.2% thinner than CCFL displays of comparable screen size, the vendor said.
Asustek showcased the Memo Pad HD7 tablet at Computex 2013. The product is priced at US$169/unit.
