The Taiwan government-sponsored Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) showcased its wireless detecting technology, Air Cursor, at Taipei Computer Application Show (TCAS) in July.

By installing the Air Cursor software, users can control the computer with simple hand gestures in the air, and they only need to add a webcam on the computer to achieve this function, ITRI said.
