Transcend StoreJet 18M portable hard drive

Transcend Information has introduced a new addition to its StoreJet-series portable hard drives, the StoreJet 18M.

The new 1.8-inch hard drive-equipped device features dual-stage shock-protection system that incorporates internal suspension technology with an extra-durable, vibration/impact-dampening silicone outer shell. The StoreJet 18M fully meets US military drop-test standards (MIL-STD-810F 516.5-Transit Drop) and offers protection against both vibration and impact damage, according to the company.

Fully compliant with USB 2.0 specifications, Transcend's StoreJet 18M mini portable hard drive is available with a 120GB storage capacity, the company said.
