Vodafone will soon launch the HTC Magic, the first mobile phone with Google's Android operating system.

The HTC Magic is 100% touchscreen controlled. HSPA with up to 7.2Mb/s downlink and up to 2Mb/s uplink make the model faster on the Internet for users on the move than some PCs connected to a DSL line, according to Vodafone.

Vodafone will exclusively market the HTC Magic smartphone in Germany as soon as April 2009.
