Singapore Telecommunications (SingTel) and HTC has unveiled the first Android-powered mobile phone for the Asia market, the HTC Dream.

The Android-powered mobile device will be available via SingTel and its wholly-owned subsidiary in Australia, Optus, in Australia and Singapore.

The HTC Dream combines full touch screen functionality and a QWERTY keyboard with Google applications. Pricing and availability details will be announced at a later date.
