Lanner Electronics has announced the addition of the IAC-GME01, a second generation I/O control module for electronic gaming machines. The IAC-GME series controller delivers a total I/O solution to enable customers to build sophisticated gaming solutions for casino and other electronics gaming applications, said the company.

The IAC-GME01 I/O control module connects to a processor board via a USB 2.0 / 1.1 interface. Together with a motherboard, the IAC-GME01 provides the core hardware platform for any electronic gaming device, Lanner said.
