Philips manufactures millionth Ambilight Flat TV
Philips today announced its one millionth Ambilight Flat TV has been manufactured at its main manufacturing facility in Bruges. The millionth Ambilight Flat TV is a 42-inch LCD high-definition (HD) display and comes on the heels of the tenth anniversary of Philips' first flat-panel TV, a 42-inch PDP (plasma display panel) TV that was displayed at CeBIT Home in 1996.
