    Vista does run DX10 natively but DX is backwards compatible with early versions, and the effects that create Aero are only based on DX9 and SM3. A DX 10 card is not a requirement for Vista Premium support.

    What does "compatible with the new Windows Aero user interface thanks to support of Microsoft DirectX 9.0c Shader Model 3.0." Have Anything to do with Windows Aero style/effects in the least bit?
    Windows Vista natively runs DirectX 10.
