Macronix net profits surge in 2Q18

Flash memory and mask ROM chipmaker Macronix International has reported net profits of NT$2.33 billion (US$76.1 million) for the second quarter of 2018, up 24% sequentially and 278% on year with EPS arriving at NT$1.30.
